Five-day Workshop with Patrick Delcroix, re-stager of Jiri Kylian, and Dollie Henry, Jazz Artist and Artistic Director of "Body

We open the doors of our EBB studio in Madrid (Spain) to semi-professional students who want to live the EBB Junior experience.
From February 24th to 28th you can join us in a unique workshop with our Guest Artists Patrick Delcroix (Jiri Kylian Workshop) and Dollie Henry (Jazz Workshop).
We offer the opportunity to choose to attend the classes of one or both artists as well as to attend to the Complete EBB week immersion with fifteen classes in total.

Our Guest Artists:
- Patrick Delcroix
Was educated at the Centre International de Danse Rosella Hightower in Cannes and the école de Danse Colette Soriano in Orthez, France. In 1982 he joined the Iwanson Dance Company in Munich before being engaged by the Scapino Ballet in Amsterdam and the Nederlands Dans Theater 1, where under the direction of Jiri Kylian, he danced from 1986 to 2003 becoming a major figure of the company working extensively with many celebrated figures including William Forsythe, Mats Ek, Ohad Naharin, Edouard Lock, Nacho Duato, Hans van Manen and of course Mr. Kylian, with whom he created over 16 ballets with.
Patrick began his choreographic career with the introduction of the NDT annual workshops. He was further encouraged by Kylian to pursue this field, being invited to create few works for the Nederland Dans Theatre 1/2/3. To date, Delcroix has created new works or reset works for many companies.
Since 2008 he is also employed by the Kylian Productions to re-stage the repertoire of Jiri Kylian.
In 2001, Patrick Delcroix was knighted by the French government for services to the arts, being made "Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres".

- Dollie Henry:
Dollie is recognised and respected as one of the UK’s leading Jazz dance artist, theatre choreographer/director, Jazz dance specialist and educator. Through her company Body of People Jazz Theatre, she has developed a unique Jazz style and Jazz dance technique that explores and brings through the history and lineage of the African expression, amalgamated with the essence of Modern Jazz Theatre.
Her masterclasses provide an open space for all dancers to development creatively and artistically, mentally and physically as dance performers. The main objectives of her Jazz masterclasses, are to guide, engage, and enlighten all dancers through the practical experience of the Jazz dance technique, by understanding the aesthetic and vocabulary of jazz dance styles, explore improvisation and Jazz music, whilst staying true to the essence of the Jazz Dance mantra that of, individual expression.
