Will kick off Thursday, Sept. 6, the fourth edition of the Argentario DANCE FESTIVAL, the international dance competition led by Claudio Rocco since 2009 brings together under the umbrella of the Sea Theatre, in Porto Santo Stefano, hundreds of young students and promising young dancers of the dance coming from many regions of Italy, and many countries of the world (USA, UK, Ireland, Russia, France).
Four days of dance and cultural exchange favoring the discovery of the territory thanks to a series of tourist activities / cultural program of completing the 'Argentario Dance Festival.
The 2012 program includes two days devoted to the preliminary stages (Thursday 6 and Friday, Sept. 7) in which schools, groups and soloists take turns on stage with the aim of reaching the Final (Saturday, September 8), which will access only the best compositions and the best elements.
For this difficult task has been gathered a respectable wizard swears by the author, and comprises:
Sergio Iapino President of the Jury, director and television producer
Artistic Director Claudio Rocco (as well as teacher and juror),
Paola Jorio outgoing Director of the School of the Rome Opera House,
Ventriglia Francis, Director of Dance in May,
Lucia Geppi, Maitre de Ballet,
Desmond Richardson, world-renowned dancer and choreographer of the world's most famous company Complexions, directly covered exclusively by New York, USA
MoMo teacher and choreographer, director of the group Funk Elements,
Giancarlo Solinas freelance choreographer and International.
The festival will conclude with a Gala (Sunday, September 9) which would bring the schools participating in the festival that will offer the best of what we saw in the previous evenings.
