Cultural centre in Alexandria, Egypt, dedicated to the promotion and development of dance and the performing arts in the region.

Activities include training, specific workshops, support to local artists, as well as the organisation of several cultural events in partnership with local and international organisations.

Our aims are to:

Raise teaching standards for dance in Egypt, particularly in the fields of ballet and contemporary dance
Give rise to a new generation of young dancers in Alexandria, who would have enough technical and artistic skills to further develop the local dance scene
Develop the awareness of the general public towards dance and the performing arts in Alexandria by organising cultural events as well as various workshops in order to acquaint the audience with new styles of dance or ways of teaching
Support the local art scene by providing work spaces for independent artistic groups and projects as well as by providing to local artists technical and administrative support when developing their own projects
