Jo performed from a young age throughout the Uk with Surrey Youth Dance, StopGap company and Rambert youth whilst training at Brit School Of Performing Arts and Technology. She then went on to graduate from Laban with a 1st Ba (Hons) Dance Theatre in 2009. During her training at Laban, Jo had the opportunity to work
nationally and internationally with
artists such as Sisco Gomez (so you think you can dance), Tony Adigun, Susan Sentler, Kerry Nicholls and Tom Dale. In early 2010 Jo Co- choreographed with RedTape Dance Company for Blueprint festival, Stratford Circus, London and toured to Malta as guest artist for RedTape Dance, where she performed and choreographed in Unexpected Encounters for evenings on Campus and Walk the Plank, for Notte Bianca festival. Jo has been cast in Aya Theatre's London production "Kasper" in collaboration with Dreckley Productions and toured with former Transitions Company member Tom Picken, to Normandie, France for his premiere work "Fracture". More recently Jo completed a tour with Vocab Dance Company on their "Episodes of Blackness" Mixed bill tour 2011, she also teaches at Guildford College as choreography and dance appreciation tutor, and is currently working towards Resolutions for Redtape Dance Company (Maria Cassar) TLDT (Theo Lowe) and Tom Picken dance company, including his 2012 international tour.
