Daniel Jaber biography

Born 1985 in Nairne, South Australia, Daniel Jaber joined Garry Stewart’s Australian Dance Theatre (ADT) as a full-time company member whilst in his second year of studies at the Adelaide Centre for the Arts in 2004.
Since 2008, Daniel has been working independently throughout Australia and Europe, creating his own works and performing for dance and theatre makers: Frances d’Ath, Alison Currie, Joachim Schloemer, Phillipe Fabre, Clint Lutes, Gabrielle Nankivell, and Philip Adams.
Daniel’s solo work entitled ‘Too far again, not far enough...’ won 2 awards at the 2010 Adelaide Fringe Festival Awards for Best Dance and the Adelaide Festival Centre inSPACE:development Award. He has since created work for ACArts, QUT, Rimbun Dahan, Expressions Dance Company and is currently developing his next ensemble work ‘Degradation’.
