Polish National Ballet

After 225 years history of Ballet Company of the Teatr Wielki - Polish National Opera was transformed to Polish National Ballet.

From season 2009/10 Krysztof Pastor became the new artistic director of the company. An internationally acclaimed choreographer created works for many established ballet companies. For many years now and continuously he is occupying the post of house choreographer with Dutch National Ballet.

As well as keeping up the well known Classical productions and bringing his creative talent to the company he will enrich the repertory of the company by many new works of his own and other famous choreographers of today to bring the ballet company on a par with the best companies in Europe.
