Nicolas Ricchini Company is a dance company based in Barcelona. Founded in 2010 by Nicolas Ricchini, it is the result of desire of choreographic and creative research that started in in 2008 with the creation of its first show : CORPS A SONS - CORAZÓN.
In 2010, "ACTO SENSUAL" was premiered in Casal de Joves de Torreblanca, in Sant Cugat, supported by this institution and Pepe Hevia Danza company. Dealing with relationships and sexuality, it seduces the audience with its sensuality and the technique of the movement.
The second piece, "MODI" is dedicated to Modigliani, the famous paintor. Created in collaboration with Jeunes Danseurs en Scène's dancers from Lyon (France), it was premiered in "Paul Garcin Theatre" and distinguished for its poetrical and lyrical universe.
Finding out a definited trayectory, based on strenght and speed of gestures, the company define its style as an harmony found between fluency and breaks, a linear style and at the same time smashed, built on a deep study of music and its diversity.
Nicolas aims at finding in the own personality of the dancer a way to reach his choreographic estheticism so that, on stage, the audience cannot only see a dancer, but rather, and above all, a human being.
