Stephanie Toland is originally from Wichita, KS. She holds a BFA in dance from Wichita State University. While at WSU, Stephanie trained under Nicholas Johnson, Sabrina Vasquez, Denise Celestin, and Richard Isaac. As a member of Wichita Contemporary Dance Theatre, Stephanie has performed in Janice Garrett’s Fast Brass, Doug Varone’s Of the Earth Far Below, and Andrew Palermo and Taye Digg’s world premiere of beyond.words. She also played the good witch on the Midwest tour of WSU’S original production, The Wiyos of Oz. Her performance path has lead her many places including, New York, Los Angeles, and even a tour in Taiwan in conjunction with WCDT and the National Taiwan College of Physical Education. Post-graduate, Stephanie has worked with Clawson Dances and has kept choreographing her own original works. She now resides in Chicago.
