I’m Sheyda Darab, artist name Two-Face. I was born in Isfahan, Iran. I currently live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. At age 16 I started belly dancing and when I was 18 I got in touch with Hip Hop. I’ m an autodidact who considers every dancer as an individual with an authentic dance personality and statement. The most important thing is bringing out this statement with dance. I also believe that a person’s dance is a reflection of his or her soul.
I have a propaedeutics degree in psychology and work as a dancer, teacher, choreographer, director and event/battle organizer. I’m engaged in Experimental, New Style Hip Hop, House dancing, Krump, Belly dancing and Waacking. My specialisations are fusions and cross-overs, also with non Hip Hop styles and other art forms. I have a true affinity for Hip Hop dance in theatres and like to portray the vulnerability, rawness and purity of my dancers, using Hip Hop techniques.
I'm clear in my vision, but always open to collaborations and new experiences.
