Daniel LaMont Moore, a native of Washington, DC, born on July 23, 1988, where he began his dance training at The Northeast Performing Arts Outreach Youth Center at the age of 7. Daniel attended Suitland High School for the Visual and Performing Arts where he studied under Linda Darr and Barbara Marks. He loves listening to music, writing on his down time, animals and roller-coasters as well. Daniel was a Ballet Performance Major at The University of the Arts where he received his BFA in dance in May of 2011. He has attended scholarship programs such as The Debbie Allen Dance Academy, The Dance Theatre of Harlem, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Dance Institute of Washington, Earl Mosley Institute of the Arts, and Anointed Dance Ministry and Company. Daniel is a Principal Dancer with the Eleone Dance Theatre located in Philadelphia and is going on his 4th Season with them. He has worked with Debbie Allen, Anthony Burrell, Fabian Barnes, Arthur Mitchell, Christopher L. Huggins, Troy Powell and Earl Mosley to name a few dance pioneers. He is a young inspiring actor and model. He has been in two outstanding repertoire pieces of the Pennsylvania Ballet; Cinderella and Romeo & Juliet. He also is now a former member of Carbon Dance Theatre under the direction of Meredith Rainey (former member of Pennsylvania Ballet) He has modeled with a small modeling team called Cataclysmic and is hoping to reach his dreams. Daniel thanks God everyday for his gifts that have been given to him.
