ANDREA KRAMESOVA
Czech ballerina . Andrea studied at ballet conservatory in Prague where she graduated at 1999 with red diploma . During her studies she received the stipendiums for summer workshops with Birgit Keil in Köln,Germany and in Pertuis, France.
At 2000 she won the first prize in the national competition in Brno for Czech & Slovac dancers and the prize for artistic interpretation !
After her studies she took a offer to dance in National theater in Prague,where she stayed for 4 years.
At the age 22 she moved to USA where she got the soloist offer from Marcello Angelini - artistic director of Tulsa Ballet Oklahoma.There she stayed for 2 seasons .Her repertoire includes lead roles in Nutcracker ( M.Angelini ), Cinderella ( B.Stevenson ) , Three Musketeers ( A. Prokovsky ), Gala Performance ( A.Tudor ) as well as the work from Nacho Duato ( Without words-last pas de deux and Arenal ), L.York and others.
In May 2005 she gets the soloist offer from artistic director of Deutsche Oper Am Rhein Youri Vamos and is immediately casted as a Juliette in his version of Romeo & Julia. Under a leadership of Youri Vamos she dance the lead and soloist parts in Romeo & Julia (Y.Vamos ) , Nutcracker -Klara(Y.Vamos) ,Sleeping beauty-the daughter of the last tzar - Aurora/Anastasia ( Y.Vamos ) , Midsummer nights dream- Helena (Y.Vamos), Giselle- peasant pas de deux, The Judin from Toledo - lead part ( Y . Vamos ) as well as the work from Petr Zuska, Jiri Kylian and others.
In 2007 she is invited to make her debut as a Odette/Odile as a guest artist in State Opera in Prague. And in 2008 she is promoted by Youri Vamos to be a principal dancer at Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
In 2009 Youri Vamos is going to pension and Andrea is moving to Royal Swedish Ballet where the artistic director Marc Ribaud is casting her as a Swanhilda to his version of Coppelia. Her repertoire here includes the soloist roles in Nutcracker- Lotta (P.Isberg), Swan lake -Pas de 3 first act , Theme and variation (G.Balanchine) and many others.
